The Combined Expeditionary Fleet was formed in 2955 after current PMC contractors operating on behalf of the UEE received formal orders to form a competent Air Ground Task Force capable of exerting power and force on behalf of the people, in order to protect the interests of citizens in settled worlds, and to bring conventional lawfulness to regions through the conduct of war.

Comprised of former UEE Marine Officers, as well as UEE Naval Senior Officers, the fleet is considered one of the deadliest and most experienced operational units in usage in the systems.
